The official trailer for Katie Holmes? upcoming scary movie, Don?t Be Afraid of the Dark, has been released. After seeing this movie, we bet not being afraid of the dark will be impossible!

The Guillermo Del Toro directed film is a remake of the 1973 horror movie.
Don?t Be Afraid of the Dark tells the story of a young girl (Bailee Madison) who is sent to live with her father (Guy Pearce) and his girlfriend (Katie) and she finds out her house is full of creatures who want to claim her as their own.
The film is set to hit theaters, Aug. 12.
