I enjoy hiking and camping expeditions especially during the weekend. Going camping has given me and my husband the time to explore nature?s wonders and bond with each other at the same time. However, we experienced a close brush with death after being assailed almost by a grizzly bear. Thankfully, we were able to repel the threat using a bear defense spray.
The incident took place in Montana where we went camping. Being so exhausted from the grinding hike, we were off to dreamland in a matter of seconds after putting up our tent. My spouse came prepared for grizzly bear hostility by keeping the Guard Alaska bear spray in our backpack. He is a firm believer of this bear pepper spray, hailing it as the most capable of those available today.
We were awakened by a thundering sound in the middle of the night. Both of us rose and looked for the source of the roaring while my husband kept his bear defense spray with him just in case a bear turned up out of nowhere.
We were right all along. As we emerged from our tent, we saw fellow campers running away from a bear that had appeared out of the woods. My significant other took on the creature courageously by using the Guard Alaska bear spray.
While the huge bear was around 15 feet away, my hubby had no trouble dispensing the bear repellent spray onto the wild animal. He was able to employ the bear defense spray rather quickly after pulling up the safety clip.
The grizzly was unable to move closer after my husband administered the bear pepper spray onto it. Soon, it rushed out of the tent and ran towards the forest. As my mister told the other campers, this defense spray gives non-lethal protection against bears. So, there is no guilt feeling involved since we did not really kill the animal. Instead, it caused the aggressor to back down and stop its rampage.
As soon as the bear had moved away from our campsite, we all clapped and high-fived each other after averting what could have been a deadly situation. I kissed my husband out of relief and gratitude for his courage and quick thinking in turning to the bear defense spray.
As the rest of the camp expressed their gratitude, we nodded our heads graciously and advised them to make a habit of bringing the Guard Alaska bear spray along whenever they go outdoors.
