Springsteen Saxophonist Clarence Clemons Suffers Stroke

E Street Band favorite Clarence Clemons has is ailing. The iconic saxophonist, who has played alongside Bruce Springsteen for over 30 years, reportedly suffered a stroke while at his home in Florida.

Details on the 69-year-old's current condition are sparse but, according to Showbiz411.com, Clemons' medical situation in very serious. The musicians' bandmates were reportedly heading down to see their pal in a hurry.

In addition to being The Boss' right-hand man for years, Clemons recently joined Lady Gaga on stage at the American Idol finale. The big man is featured on new songs on Gaga's Born This Way album, including her newest hit, "Edge of Glory." Last week, Clemons was scheduled to play the national anthem before Game Two of the NBA Finals, but had to cancel last minute due to a hand injury.
