Do you think relationships based on 'mutual respect' last longer than ...

Your precious views Please!!!
LOL @ giftfromgod. Plain loaf of bread is preferable as it is healthier!!! Thank you very much!

No thumbing down, if you please! Have some respect for each other, folks. We are all mature enough to withstand a contrary view, can?t we!?!?
I am sure you are, Xanadu! Your very name reflects your contentment!

Glow Wing : You are an Angel, dear! Wishing everyone well. But, I?m not looking for anyone for myself, Love. Its just to check what people think these days?So I can advice the youngsters who seek it?.Thanks all the same!
You sure, dear achen? There is no such thing as ?whimsical?? I thought the way relationships are falling apart, love must be the culprit!!!
Good practical thinking, Kisshomaru!
Dear Achen , when you talk like this in scientific lingo stating brain functions and its dependence on ?serotinin?, ?dopamin? or ?pheromone?, some weirdly mysterious chemicals are secreted by my brain which blank me out completely?.though I wonder what chemicals are responsible for producing ?respect?, making the bonds stronger. ****Smile****
When you harrumph me so gruffly Pocko, all I feel is great fear!!!

Going by the majority opinion, I?m convinced now that respect has an upper hand in making relations more lasting. I believe, respect has solid foundations based as it is, on the character of a person, while love?s grounds are shifty, generally speaking. More often than not, a person is not clear why he/she loves another except that it makes him/her feel good, like that piece of chocolate cake?.

Thanks everyone for making time. Much appreciated!

Usually it is. But the question is, would you want it? The second one is a decadent slice of chocolate cake, the other is a big plain loaf of bread.
